Comeback My Daughters began life as a three piece in 1997. They became popular for their powerful sound and haunting vocals backed by catchy melodies. In their early days, the band played and recorded as much as possible. They self-released the 12 inch Home of the Sun and an EP called Weekend Milestone, toured with a number of visiting bands from abroad, and contributed a song to the official WEEZER tribute album.

In August 2002, CHUN2 joined the band as a second guitarist, followed by Akira Yutaka Kosaka in November of the same year as keyboards player. The new line up released the four song EP Weekend Milestone. Two years later, Comeback My Daughters signed to Pizza Of Death records and released their first official full length album, Spitting Kisses.
