Japan

Japan is a very beautiful island country in East Asia. The language is easy to learn, but includes 1760 (I think) Chinese characters called "kanji" that are used in everyday written Japanese. But don't worry! Most of them are very easy to learn and even though they *sort of* sound like the original Chinese pronounciations, they don't have the weird tone difference like in Chinese.
