Shibuya O-East

Shibuya O-East is a concert hall located in Shibuya, Tokyo. It opened in 1991 (when it held about 1000 people) and was known as “On Air.” Construction began in 1994 to fit a larger capacity, and by 2004, the venue was completed, the concert hall was renamed “Shibuya O-East” and the building was finished.

Shibuyo O-East is the larger of the concert halls run by Shibuya O. It seats 3 times the number of people than Shibuya-O West, and is a far more popular venue for large shows than its West counterpart.

Access

Shibuya O-East is a 5 minute walk from Shibuya Station (Shinsen Shibuya).

Get off at Shibuya Station in Hachiko. Take 109 at the Y-shaped intersection and turn left. Stop at Lawson. Shibuya O-East is on the left side of the street (With Shibuya O-West on the right).

Facility

Shibuya O-East is one of the largest live houses in Tokyo. It is home to some of the most modern technological advances in musical equipment, and has some of the best acoustics in Tokyo.

Shibuya O-East fits approximately 1300 people. Smoking is prohibited except for certain marked areas. There is pay-per floor locker space that you can use before admission.

Admission is located on the 2nd floor after the toilets and before the main floor lockers.

There are three different bars on location, and each of those bars has light food on hand for those interested in eating before the shows. There are also several shops and restaurants nearby.
