Yakiniku is a meat dish cooked at the table on a type of Korean barbecue. A restaurant will provide customers with a plate of various raw meats and a lighted burner under a mesh grill. Diners then cook their own at their own pace.

The meats are difficult to identify and may include pieces of ox tongue, for example.
