* 1992 - Graduated Nihon University Art Department
* 1993 - Studied art in New York
* 1994 - Returned to Japan, working freelance on many projects

==Kahori Maki Projects==
Kahori Maki works in various media including drawing, painting, video, and installation. Her projects have included work for Levi's, [[Comme des Garcons]], [[Dover Street Market]], [[Edwin]], [[And A]], [[Vogue Nippon]], and The Hiatus. Besides her commercial work, she has had more than ten solo shows of her work since 1995.
