'''Coaltar Of The Deepers''' (コールター・オブ・ザ・ディーパーズ) is a Japanese rock band. The band was formed in [[1991]] by original members Narasaki, Kanno, and Yoshio. The band's sound has been diverse - from album to album, song to song, and even sometimes inside of the same song - ranging from shoegazing British style rock to thrash metal all the way to death metal, complete with growling death metal style vocals. The music is, above all, guitar driven [[JRock]], but includes many other influences from [[jazz]] to [[electronica]] and [[techno]].
