'''Satoshi Tsumabuki''' was born December 13, [[1980]] in [[Fukuoka]], Japan and despite his young age he has amassed an extensive list of film credits. He has not only starred in many films in Japan, he also had a role in the American film [[The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift]], where he played a character called “Exceedingly Handsome Guy.” In addition to his numerous movie roles, he is also the bassist and lead singer for the band “Basking Life.”

== Awards ==

In [[2002]], Satoshi Tsumbuki was first nominated for Best Actor at the [[Japanese Academy Awards]] for his role in the film [[Waterboys]]. He also received the “Newcomer of the Year” award that year. In both [[2006]] and [[2007]] he was again nominated for Best Actor for his roles in [[Haru no yuki]] and [[Nada sô sô]].

Satoshi Tsumbuki also won Best Actor awards at the [[Hochi Film Awards]] and the [[Kinema Junpo Awards]] in [[2004]] for his role in [[Joze to tora to sakana tachi]]. In [[2002]], he received a special award from the [[Japanese Professional Movie Awards]]. He also won the Best Actor Festival Prize in [[2004]] at the [[Yokohama Film Festival]].
