'''Takao Osawa''' was born on March 11, [[1968]] in [[Tokyo]], Japan. He has acted in numerous movies and television programs since his television debut in [[1994]]. In addition to acting, he lent his voice as narrator of the Japanese version of the American movie [[The March of the Penguins]], which was narrated in English by actor Morgan Freeman.

== Awards ==

Takao Osawa won the Best Supporting Actor award at the [[Nikkon Sports Award]] for his role in the [[2006]] film [[Metro ni notte]].
