Invisible

While sitting in your everyday high school class you tend to stare off in to space you never know what you’ll think of. “Miss Larson. Can you please tell me what Lady Ayato was ruler of?” Mr. Henderson asked me. “Wasn’t she ruler of a small village which rebelled against the main empire of Japan. After that she married Lord Kauzka who ruled over a small kingdom called Fungshin.” I answered. “Very good it seems some one has been studding.” Mr. Henderson said. I just hid my head in embarrassment, finally the bell rang, and I was saved before the teacher could rant about how smart I was. As I walked down the crowed school halls I wish I was just invisible. “Hey Elizabeth how was class I heard what happened Mr. Henderson was bragging about you again how embarrassing.” Kate said. She was my best friend ever since pre k. Our mom’s where friends before we were born sadly her mom wanted me to be a boy so they could be a family. Kate finally told her to live with it because I was her best friend. “Hey Kate have you seen Aaron?” I asked “Yeah he left early to a doctor’s appointment he said he would meet us after school to day at the park.” Kate said, “Snob alert.” I looked up and there she stood our ex-best friend Sonya. Tall blond, beautiful and popular, the only thing she lacked was a brain. She always followed Amelia Vadabret. She was captain of the cheerleading squad and every girls idle (not mine at least). As they walked by I noticed how happy they were being the center of attention, so not my style. My cell phone starts to ring. I had a text message from Bandit. “Let me guess it’s him go ahead I’ll meet you in P.E.” Kate said with her wicked smile. I ran to my locker and called him. “Hello?” “Hey Bandit it’s me Luna.” “Oh hi did you get my text message.” “If I didn’t I wouldn’t call you so what’s up?” Nothing I want to see you face to face.” “Not yet trust me I ...” “Please Luna I really do want to see you as my birthday present.” I paused for a minute. “Fine you win but you have to promise not to leave me okay. Do you know what I look like?” “Yeah I do I am looking at you right now ... meet me at the park tonight I’ll meet you by the swings okay.” “Uhm ... where are you?” “I can’t tell you or you might not come if you see me right now. Good bye.....Elizabeth” –click- I put my phone away and hurried to gym I looked up and saw one of the emo kids looking at me. Well I was kind of emo I did dress dark and so was my writing. My make up was actually really light So I looked soft but there was the one thing that completed me my mind, I was smarter then most girls. I made it to the lockers and finally went to P.E; I noticed that I saw the same guy who was staring at me. I noticed he had warm brown eyes and shaggy brown hair. I watched him as we played volley ball “Elizabeth look out!” I heard and then I was smacked in the face with the volley ball. I fell on my butt and looking at everyone I started laughing. I finished P.E class and was talking to Kate in the locker room. “Hey Kate I wont be able to make it to the park after school I have to go get ready for something.” I said. She looked at me surprisingly. “What n...n.no you cant do that to me.” She said she had a thing for Aaron. “You’re seeing him aren’t you?” She asked “I can t lie to you.” I said with an innocent smile. “Oh my god you better make sure he is going to show up or I am going to kill you if you left me with Aaron for no reason.” Kate sighed in defeat. I gave her a big hug. I ran home and got ready to leave I left around 8:30 -yeah it took me several hours to get ready- I waited at the park for him I kept looking at the swings they were to tempting so I went over and had fun. There were already people leaving. I saw a figure as I swung I watched the figure approach me “So are you having fun Elizabeth?” They said “So are you going to let me see you?” I asked with so much curiosity. My heart raced I thought he could hear it. He took one step into the street light and I saw it was the guy who was staring at me. “Your from the other clan?” I said surprised “Yeah fumy isn’t it. So are you going to run yet?” he asked His name was Jami Lost every one in his clan called him Romeo because he was very charming and ha a way with words...the irony. There was something wrong I should have run home but I felt so safe in his presence. “So are you going to answer me? Are you going to run away since you know who and what I am?” he asked again this time I just held my hand out and he took it. We sat tougher under the oak tree talking about the fights we have gotten into and what we like to do out side of school even though we both new every thing about each other. “So did you notice that I was in every one of your classes.” He laughed I loved that sound it made me happy. “Yeah I did you were always the other person who always sat by them self.” I said and closed my eyes as a spring wind blew by. “The dance is coming up I was wondering if you would be my date?” he asked “Sure I would love to. The way what dose this make us a couple or god friends?” I asked because I never had a boy friend. “I’ll be what ever you want me to be.” Was his answer. I looked at him into his dreamy blue eyes then leaned in close to him I closed my eyes and let him kiss me. My first kiss. It felt a little weird but I liked it? “I’ll take you home now its going to rain soon.” He said “Okay then take me home if you want and yes I will go to the dance with you.” I said as we walked to his car it was a nice truck a little old but still nice better then my VW bug and its lovely pastel green paint job. The drive was short and his prediction about the rain came true. I kissed him one last time before I was about to get out of the car. “Wait you’ll get sick if you gat wet.” He said and handed me his jacket it had a earthly smell like the country. ‘That is an interesting smell last time I had a chance to be in the country is when Aunt Liana owned her ranch???” I thought

When I got tout of the car I saw the door fly open. “Crap Jami go.” I said as my father came out with the belt. I tried to run past him but I slipped on the wet grass. There he beat me with the belt. After the excruciating five minutes I was aloud in the house. I noticed all the beer cans and bottle’s half full of liquor. Yeah my father was an alcoholic nothing out of the norm I thought. I went to my room it was a lovely teal blue and the them of water.  I took care of the mess my father made. 

At school the next day I meet up with Kate, Aaron, and the rest of the gang.... please email me because i need help
