Astro Hall is a popular live music, fashion, and party hall in Harajuku, Japan. It is most often used for live music, but its small size makes in an often used venue for seminars, fashion shows, private parties and events.

Astro Hall is not as well known as other live music halls like Shibuya-O and the Akasaka Blitz, but it still has several shows a month by smaller artists and occasionally hosts for the better known musician. It is a good place for new bands to start their concert series’.

Due to its location, it is most popular with younger people.

Access

To get to Astro Hall, you can take the JR Yamanote Line to Harajuku StationIt is about a six minute walk. You can also take the Chiyoda Line and get off at Jungumae. There it is also a five minute walk.

From Harajuku Station, walk down Takeshita Street and look for the FITS bright orange sign which you should see from Meiji Butukattara.

Facility

Astro Hall is considered a small live music venue. It holds 400 people standing in the hall itself. With seating, it can fit approximately 180 seats. As a fashion runway it can fit about 150 and as a party hall it twelve 6-8 person round tables.

It has plenty of state of the art acoustic equipment, including a power amplifier with a parametric equalizer as well as a console graphics equalizer for the main speaker driver line.

It also has state of the art lighting equipment. There is also plenty of parking available.
