Edogawa-ku

Edogawa-ku (江戸川区) is one of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, Japan.

It is located at the eastern edge of Tokyo, and bordered by rivers to the east and west and by the Tokyo Bay to the south. The official tree is the camphor tree; the official flower is the azalea.

Many Japanese celebrities have come from this area, including Morning Musume's Maki Goto and KAT-TUN vocalis Kazuya Kamenashi.

Main Attractions

• Edogawa Kyotei - boat racing. Site of the annual Edogawa Grand Prix, held every June.
• Kasai Seaside Park - park alongside the Tokyo Bay contains a nice green area as well as the Kasai Sea Life Park aquarium and a large ferris wheel.
