From the outside the garage looks like a dirty basement. The owners are proud of this look, as it gives it the underground appeal they are looking for. The garage is a small arena, one of the smaller live houses in Tokyo. It can fit approximately 200 people standing.
On April 1st, 2007, the Garage celebrated its 13th anniversary. Only 150 tickets were sold on the day of the event, and those that attended were treated to the band “Petororuzu” using the Mandolin and guitar. The celebration was meant to commemorate 13 years of underground music being the core of the Japanese music scene.
