Clammbon is an instrumental and experimental jamming project. Clammbon began to work with Warner Music in 1996, with whom they have released several albums in Japan. In 2003, they started to work with Columbia Music Entertainment.

It is also Columbia with whose help the band was first able to release their rather unofficial sounds as Cjammbon through the independent imprint onpa. Cjammbon has had two tracks – “SUFI” and “Our S/N (We Didn't Know About It)” – released on onpa's first output entitled “Des Névroses Pour La Saint Valentin”.

The head of the band, Mito, was influenced by German experimental band Can and other European new wave artists. He plays keyboards, double bass and bass guitar as well as guitar. The band's vocalist, Harada Ikuko, released her first solo album in 2004.

Clammbon has worked with Towa Tei of Dee-Lite, and as well as remixing various other bands, they have covered one of Yellow Magic Orchestra's tracks for the YMO tribute compilation. They also play live.
