Akatsuka Park (赤塚公園) is located in along Takashima Public Housing Complex and Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway No.5. A natural forest setting and walkway along the park are some of the popular features on this park. The total area of the park is 250,466m². Facilities include a track and field area, a baseball field, seven tennis courts and an area for BBQing.
The park was opened to the public in 1974, but was supposed to open before that. The original opening did not happen because of the start of WWII.
