From Virtual Japan
The High-Lows were a popular punk rock band that formed in 1995. Hiroto Koumoto and Masatoshi Mashima played together in the punk band Blue Hearts before joining Shirabe Sakito, Ooshima Kenji and Shirai Mikio to form The High-Lows.
Their single Mune ga Doki Doki was the first opening theme to the anime Detective Conan. The band broke up in 2005 and Koumoto and Mashima fomed the Cro-Magnons. which released a single and an album so far. Koumoto also had a short solo career for about four months and released a single.
