Tornado Mart is exclusively a men's clothing brand but the brand launched a related brand called Tornado Mart Femme in 2000 to cater to Japanese women.
As of March 2008, Tornado Mart had 46 stores throughout Japan and Tornado Mart Femme had 15 shops. The shops are located throughout the entire country of Japan, with a high concentration in Tokyo. There are some stand alone shops, but Tornado Mart locations can often be found inside of Japanese department stores including Marui and Parco.
Tornado Mart and Tornado Mart Femme have a combined flagship shop on the Omotesando area of Tokyo.
Tornado Mart is listed in the "company" credits as one of the costume suppliers for the 2002 Japanese movie There's Always Tomorrow (Ashita ga aru sa: The Movie) along with other Japanese brands like Junmen and Inujirushi.
