Sofia Coppola (ソフィア・コッポラ) is an American movie producer and the creator of the Japanese fashion brand MilkFed. She was born in 1972 in Los Angeles, California. Notably, she produced the popular movie Lost in Translation, which was set in Tokyo.
Coppola is the daughter of legendary American director Francis Ford Coppola, the sister of actor Roman Coppola, and a cousin of Nicolas Cage and Jason Schwartzman. She was also married to music video and movie producer Spike Jonze for ten years. Her marriage to Jonze ended in divorce in 2003.
