College freshman [[Keiichi Morisato]] has an extremely pure heart. Because of his pure heart he has been chosen by Heaven’s computer system to receive one wish. In order to tell him of his options, the goddess, [[Belldandy]], comes to Earth. She is very beautiful and is often referred to as angelic. Belldandy explains that he can do whatever he’d like and Keiichi believes that the entire thing is just one big joke on him. Belldandy talks with him for awhile and Keiichi comes to feel like Belldandy is the first person who has understood and appreciated him. He jokes that he wishes that she could stay with him forever. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it), Belldandy is forced to grant him his wish and tells him that she will stay with him for forever. The rest of the series follows along with the mishaps that occur between Keiichi, Belldandy, Keiichi’s classmates and Belldandy’s mischevious sisters. | College freshman [[Keiichi Morisato]] has an extremely pure heart.
