Pizza Express is an Italian restaurant located in the Harajuku neighborhood of Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Japan.
This branch of the London-based chain can be found on the third floor of the T's Harajuku building, directly across from the Laforet shopping complex. There are windowside tables for groups of four or smaller that provide an excellent view of the bustling Harajuku streets below.
Pizza Express serves (of course) pizza in a dizzying array of combinations. They also serve pasta, salads, and a decent selection of starters which include baked doughballs. Very good pork and chicken dishes are also available, but take longer than the pizzas and pastas. (The waiters - all of whom speak both English and Japanese - are generally good about warning diners about the extra time.) The dessert menu includes substantial portions of tiramisu, panna cotta, chocolate cake, and ice cream.
