Meiji Dori (明治道り) is a very important street that runs through many of the central areas of Tokyo, Japan. Meiji Dori roughly follows the JR Yamanote Line for some distance through Ikebukero, Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya, Ebisu, and several other other key areas of central Tokyo.

Meiji Dori is one of the most important shopping streets in Tokyo. Some of the most well known Japanese department stores and shops line Meiji Dori as it passes through important parts of central Tokyo. Here is a brief overview of a few of the most well known sections of Meiji Dori.
Meiji Dori runs through Ikebukero, passing right along side of Ikebukero Station. In Ikebukero, the famous Parco Ikebukero and the huge Bic Camera Ikebukero are on Meiji Dori.
Meiji Dori cuts through Shinjuku on the east side of Shinjuku Station, bisecting Yasukuni Dori and passing through Shinjuku sanchome near the Shinjuku Sanchome Station. Major shops on Meiji Dori in Shinjuku include Marui Men Shinjuku (the front of the store actually faces Yasukuni), Isetan Department Store, and Takashimaya Times Square.
Meiji Dori runs through Harajuku, paralleling Cat Street and bisecting Killer Street, Takeshita Dori, and Omotesando Dori. Some of the famous shops on Meiji Dori in Harajuku include LaForet, Beams Harajuku, Hysteric Glamour, Lazy Hazy Planet and Uniqlo. There are actually hundreds of clothing and other shops lining Meiji Dori as it runs through Harajuku on the way to Shibuya.
As Meiji Dori connects Harajuku to Shibuya, it runs along behind Shibuya Station. There are many shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants that line Meiji Dori as it runs through Shibuya and on toward Ebisu. Some of the businesses on the Shibuya section of the street include Bic Camera, EST Shibuya, AS KNOW AS, the Amuse CQN movie theaters and Cocoti Shibuya (formerly known as the Picasso 347 complex).
Where Meiji Dori runs through Ebisu, it is lined with shops and bars including the famous Liquid Room and a brand of the Japanese fast food chain Freshness Burger.
